About Us

IT Infrastructure & Data Center Section (SITIP) is a part of ICT Association of Slovenia (ZIT) - one of the industry associations, part of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. 

Mission Statement

The mission of the SITIP section is to promote and support the development of IT Infrastructure and Data Centers in Slovenia, as one of the fundamental pillars of the digital transformation of the economy, public and other sectors of society.

Key objectives

- to bring together Operators, End Users, Vendors and System Integrators in IT infrastructure and Data Center sector,
- through various activities, including initiatives towards the Government, to achieve global recognition of Slovenia as a high-tech environment capable of successfully hosting Data Centers of major global corporations or      scientific research projects,
- to establish a dialogue with the Government and help to shape the policies and legislation that would bring positive effects to members for further development, promoting sustainable IT Infrastructure and Data Centers, create incentives for the use of renewable energy sources,
- possible membership in European associations in the sector of IT Infrastructure and Data Centers,
- to create a knowledge center that would ensure access to professional competences for members, and also to establish specialized training for designers in cooperation with The Slovenian Chamber of Engineers.
