Plans for 2025

Across Europe, private investors are making substantial investments in the construction of data centres and AI infrastructure. The SITIP section will continue discussions with the government to encourage interest and strategic support, with the aim of bringing some of these investments to Slovenia.

To achieve this, it is essential to secure suitable land, ensure sufficient energy supply, and provide appropriate incentives to attract investors. This field also presents opportunities for public–private partnerships, particularly in the use of waste heat from large data centres for district heating systems in cities.
